ONE OR TWO WEEK HOLTER MONITORS

Leaders in Cardiac Prevention and Rehabilitation since 2007, our clinicians assist you in assessing your heart attack and stroke risk.

Holter monitors may be ordered when you see your doctor because you are experiencing palpitations, flutter, and/or skipped beats.

We like to see the Cause of Palpitations?

Therefore, we perform ONE or TWO week Holter monitors to give us a better window to catch the reason for wearing the monitor.

This device records all your heart beats giving your doctor enough information to be able to help diagnose your heart condition and figure out if you have a heart rhythm problem.

It is painless, non-invasive and easy to wear with just a minor awareness that it is on your body. You must wear it the whole time your health care provider asks you to.

During this time, most likely you will be asked to keep a record of your symptoms so the data from the monitor could be compared to it.

Most of the time your doctor will ask you to wear a Holter monitor for 24 hours and if you didn’t have any irregular heart rhythms during that period he may not be able to diagnose your conditions. That’s why it is highly recommended to use a one or two week Holter monitor.

This is what our cardiac assessments will help with:

  • Atrial Fibrillation (Afib)

  • Premature Atrial Contractions

  • Premature Ventricular Contractions

  • Supraventricular Tachycardia

  • Dangerous Ventricular Arrythmias

  • Other Electrical Abnormalities

  • Does not look for Coronary Artery Disease (CAD).
